Reflecting on an Incredible Calne Bike Meet

The weather couldn’t have been better for this year’s Calne Bike Meet, with beautiful sunshine, streets packed with bikes, and an incredible atmosphere from early morning right through the afternoon. Events like Calne are what the UK motorcycling community is all about, the shared passion, the incredible range of machines, and above all, the people.
A Huge Shoutout to the Calne Scout Hut
First and foremost, we want to give a massive, heartfelt thank you to everyone at the Calne Scout Hut.
They did an unbelievable job taking care of riders throughout the day:
Helmet Storage:
Keeping everyone’s lids safe while we walked around and enjoyed the town.
Organised Parking:
Helping keep the flow of bikes managed so everyone could park up stress-free.
The BBQ:
Serving up fantastic food that kept us fueled up in the sun.
Volunteers and local community groups like the Scouts are the backbone of events like this. Thank you for your hard work and top-tier hospitality!
Great Catch-ups & Community Connections
One of the highlights of attending meets is getting the chance to catch up face-to-face with people who are just as passionate about rider safety and roadcraft as we are.

Inspiring as always to hear about the vital work MHM is doing for mental health support in the saddle.
Looking Ahead to Next Year
Hearing all of your kind words and positive feedback about One Split Second meant the world to us. Knowing that our rider-to-rider approach, non-preachy guides, and safety message resonate with so many of you fuels everything we do.
This year was about getting amongst the crowd, soaking up the atmosphere, and talking with the community. But seeing the sheer scale of the turn-out has inspired us for what’s next.
Next year, we’re planning to do it properly, complete with our official One Split Second stall and merchandise!
